Guajillo Chile Powder

Guajillo is the workhorse chile of Mexican cooking: bright, tangy, and berry-like with a green-tea note underneath and mild heat, roughly 2,500 to 5,000 Scoville units. It's what gives a red sauce its color without making it hot.

Ingredients: Guajillo chile powder.

Try it in: red enchilada sauce, birria, pozole, adobo, salsa, marinades, and rubs for pork and beef.
