Deer Jerky Seasoning

Barbecue-leaning, with chipotle for smoke and just a hint of heat. This one contains curing salt (Insta-Cure), which is what makes it a jerky seasoning rather than a rub: it's there for safety during the long, low dry.

Ingredients: Hand blended from sea salt, curing salt (Insta-Cure), garlic, onion, black pepper, and chipotle.

Try it on: venison jerky, beef jerky, and snack sticks. Follow your jerky recipe's cure ratios; this is not a general-purpose rub.
