Chili Seasoning - Medium

Three chiles do the work here: ancho for raisiny depth, New Mexico for earthiness, and chipotle for smoke. Cumin and Mexican oregano fill in underneath, and allspice adds a warm note at the back. It's got real heat, but it's the kind that builds over a bowl rather than smacking you in the first bite. Salt-free.

Ingredients: Hand blended with ancho chile powder, New Mexico chile powder, onion, chipotle chile powder, cumin, garlic, Mexican oregano, and allspice.

Try it on: a pot of chili, ground beef, chicken, and beans.
