Intensely grassy on the nose, with a citrusy taste and subtle hints of lime and licorice. Despite the shared name, it isn't the same plant as Mediterranean oregano, and the two aren't interchangeable: this one is built for chiles.

Ingredients: Oregano.

Try it in: chili, pozole, birria, taco meat, salsa, black beans, and anywhere ancho or guajillo is doing the work.
