Ground Cardamom

Nothing subtle about it. Sweet and warm, piney, with bursts of pepper and ginger and a finish of lemon and orange. The aroma is zesty and full over a woody backbone speckled with pepper.

Ingredients: Ground cardamom.

Try it in: chai and coffee, sweet rolls and pastry, rice pudding, curries, garam masala, and braised meats.
